Day 3: It rained

Today was my first Monday. I was able to hammer out some real work today.

1- I finished organizing the Cheese Market News, 2005 Binder.(with pictures!)

2- I laid out all the status bulletins... Now they are primed for a good bindering.

3- I did one last pass over a brochure for one of our pro bono's, now our lawyers can rest easy. Even found some things that were originally missed.

DAY TWO: THE INTERNING

Yesterday was my second intern day.

I like that I get to work in such a big sexy building, surrounded by sexy people, who do sexy things for sexy clients. I started my day with some light organizing, taking the format of one binder called "CMAB 2005" and apply it to a new binder called "CMAB 2006". Then I watched every California Cheese ad made, including the Spanish versions... the voiceovers on those are hilarious.

My boss got word that the Happy Cows were mentioned in a branding podcast, so I listened to the show waiting for something. Really nothing was said, except someone mentioned that they wanted to see a brand battle between the Happy California Cows and the Chik-Fa-le "eat more chicken" cows.

Then I got to read more fan mail for the happy cow ads, people just love those cows.

DAY ONE, THERE'S BEER

Today I started promptly.

I was able to get right down to business . They showed me where the bathrooms are, and I met three other interns who will be here with me. Two from LMU, just up the hill, and one from USC. The girl from USC is behind me.

At 4:00 we had a kick off party for the new creative launching. There was beer.
